- Pillar II: Who is OFAC and what are US economic sanctions? What is an ECCN and how do I classify my item?
- Pillar III: What are the elements of an effective FCPA compliance program?
- Due Diligence, Due Diligence, Due Diligence!
- What are the risks and obligations of each compliance pillar or program?
After attending this workshop, you will:
- Understand US Export Controls under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Identify an ECCN and how to classify your item using the EAR
- Understand and identify sanctioned countries and parties and the ever-changing sanctions landscape
- Understand the elements of a good 3rd Party Due Diligence Program
- Understand the fundamentals of a Risk Assessment
- Explain the elements for each Pillar of Compliance
Pre-requisites:
This foundation level course is suitable for individuals of all levels. There are no pre-requisites to enroll and it caters to exporters, importers, purchasing managers, logisticians, freight forwarders, institutions, and universities
